Datuk Dr. Victor Wee Eng-Lye
Datuk Dr. Victor Wee Eng-Lye was a senior economist with the Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister's Department and the former Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism. He has also served as Chairman of Tourism Malaysia and Chairman of the Programme Committee of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO). He served as leader of the Tourism Laboratory in 2010 which outlined Malaysia's Economic Transformation Programme 2020 for tourism. He was awarded a Ph.D in Economics from Bristol University, United Kingdom
