AIRPORT RECEPTION AND TRANSFERS

Complimentary airport transfers from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) will be provided. Transfers is also available from selection of hotels to conference venue. Public taxis to Melaka are easily available from both airports. Coupons are required to be purchased at taxi coupon counters after you have claimed your luggage.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

All travellers will need a passport valid for at least 90 days following your departure date from Malaysia. However, it is strongly recommended travelling with 6 months validity on your passport at all times. It is required that there are adequate unused pages in the passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure.

CLOTHING

A shirt, jacket and tie is normal office attire and is appropriate for business and official functions. Lightweight clothing is ideal with sweatshirts for the high land areas. In rural areas, conservative dressing is advisable.

MONEY MATTERS

The official currency in Malaysia is the Ringgit. Currency notes are in 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1. Coin denominations in Sen are 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1. 1 US Dollar is about RM3.00 Ringgit. 1 Euro is about RM4.00. Banks and ATM machines are easily available in airports and in town areas. Major credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, JCB and American Express are widely accepted


ACCOMMODATION

A list of official hotels are made available for all delegates' accommodation during the conference. Complimentary airport and hotel transfers are provided for delegates who register for the conference together with any of the official hotels.
