Ms. Sandra Carvao

Ms. Sandra Carvao has been the Chief of Communications and Publications, UNWTO since March 2010. Prior to this post, she was Deputy Chief at UNWTO's Market Trends, Competitiveness and Trade in the Tourism Services Department between 2007 and 2010 where she coordinated the Tourism Resilience Committee to address the impacts of the global economic crisis 2008 - 2009 on tourism. She has a degree in International Relations, Economics Branch, from the Instituto de Ciencias Sociais e Politicas/Universidade Technica de Lisboa and a postgraduate degree in Marketing from teh Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
