Pangkor Island, is located approximately 90 km southwest of Ipoh. Pangkor Island is an idyllic and beautiful island resort for a carefree and relaxing holiday. Its natural scenery of green hills and palm-fringed beaches of fine white sand lapped by the warm blue waters of the Straits of Malacca is truly magnificent. The island is famous for its 'ikan bilis' (anchovies) and squids.
One of the best ways to see the island is to go on a round island van trip. As you travel around coastal roads, you will see quaint Malay villages with wooden houses on stills under the shade of coconut trees. Now and then, you will catch glimpses of the white sand and the shimmering blue sea. In the forests, you may chance upon shy deer or playful monkeys darting among the branches.
Formerly known as Pan Pacific Pangkor Resort, it is located on the idyllic island of Pangkor on the west of Peninsula Malaysia.
The resort has a magnificent 1.2 km beachfront fringed by 73 acres of lush tropical greenery and rainforests and emerald green waters. An excellent retreat for a memorable beachside holiday.

A unique resort on a unique island Pangkor Laut is a privately owned island located three miles off the West Coast of Malaysia along the Straits of Malacca. This piece of paradise has been 2 million years in the making, and here you will find one of the world’s premier resorts nestling in the shade of forest giants as old as the land.
You will find no other resorts – just secluded bays curled around pristine beaches, evening skies woven with colour, and a deep sense of serenity reserved exclusively for our guests. A combination of luxury, natural beauty and age-old wilderness woven together to produce an environment where peace and magically memorable moments are the currency.
Wooden buildings blend seamlessly into the forest as if nature had been the architect dictating how walls curve around foliage, and roofs open up to allow trees to continue on their journey to the sky.
Nature is respected here, almost revered, and it rewards visitors in ways that simply need to be experienced.
