Corporate Responsibility

DISCOVERYMICE strives to be a good corporate citizen. Our culture drives us to set high standards for corporate integrity and to give back by using our resources for a positive impact. We pursue a strong "4 P's bottom lines" which we describe as Profits, People, Principles and Preservation. We believe companies with strong quadruple bottom lines are the most sustainable, responsible and successful.

  • Profits is a traditional measure of our financial performance and growth.

  • People are equally important. Strong, mutually beneficial relationships with partners, customers, shareholders and the people who work for, with and near us are essential to our business.

  • Principles – our third bottom line measures our standing in, respect for and contribution to our industry.

  • Preservation of our environment, heritage and culture underlines our corporate social responsibility to protect and nurture the critical elements of tourism, not only for this generation but for future generations as well.

At DISCOVERYMICE, we measure our value through the eyes of our employees, our customers, our business partners and our industry peers. We are committed to our industry through our association with world tourism bodies and associations like United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), Commonwealth Tourism Centre (CTC), Organisation of American States (OAS), The International Ecotourism Society (TIES), Sri Lanka Ecotourism Foundation (SLEF) and our support of various Malaysian non-governmental organisations like the National Tourism Council of Malaysia (NTCM), the Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA, the Malaysia Inbound Tourism Association (MITA), Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and others which are committed to the development and growth of a progressive, healthy and sustainable tourism industry.

Our areas of work covers the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS), the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT), the South Pacific Islands as well as the Indian Ocean Islands.
