5th WORLD ECOTOURISM CONFERENCE PHOTO CONTEST

Dear Contestants,

I would like to thank everyone for their efforts and submitted their best entries for the contest.  Many of the photos were beautifully taken and displayed a lot of creativity and technical skills. It was very difficult for the judges to pick the winner.

The photo contest was mooted to capture the essence of the conference and its success. Most importantly the photos remind us of this strategic conference for a developing nation with vast marine and coastal resources to close the doors to uncertainties and opening the corridors of opportunities towards a more sustainable socio-economic roadmap. It is testimony to the commitment and determination of the Government and the tourism industry to embrace ecotourism for the sake of the nation's prosperity.
