Promoting regional multilateral cooperation and galvanising the resources of successful leaders and practitioners spearheading the advancement of ecotourism in the Asia Pacific

Delegates concludes with the drafting of the Goyang Declaration on Transfrontier Ecotourism Initiatives, sealing the commitment of a common vision and collective affirmative actions to be undertaken.




A long term objective to develop a dynamic &  cohesive multi sector industry within the region, building and growing a sizable marketplace, sharing knowledge among researchers & promoting technical exchange among practitioners


The innovative programme targetted at youths aims to promote unique tourism experiences through experience and immersion of cultures, personal bonding with communities or nature, personal development and education.

The largest marketplace showcasing community based ecotourism, nature and adventure travel in the Asia Pacific region, establishing supply and demand chains in the international front.




WEC 2012 will provide the platform for the academic fraternity to take the centre stage and showcase new development paradigms, best practice and groundbreaking solutions that have been hatched through years of research.
